Our Book Update No. 6 - July 2011

To Elevate, Regulate and Perfect.
We are pleased to announce that Our Book is progressing well with a first draft almost completed.  As we are now to move into formal discussions with a graphic artist and the printers it seems appropriate to move from the familiar ‘Our Book’ to a more public title.

The Year Ahead

2011 is here. The year ahead will be a very busy and important one for us to deliver the commemorative book for the class. We’re pleased to advise that we are on track with our project plans but it is vital that we stick to our time lines to ensure that Our Book is delivered to you for our 50th Reunion in July 2012.

Our Book Update - No 4- November 2010

Final Reminder

We advised you in our Update, Issue No. 4 – October 2010, that very shortly there would be a final appeal for the return of Feedback forms for our commemorative class book.
Gentlemen, this is the final appeal to those who have not yet sent in their Feedback form to do so now, as the cut off time for receipt of this information will be 5.00pm- Monday 6 December 2010. This is an important mile stone in our project to produce a Class of 1962 Book. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to include late submissions as we do have to start allocating pages to, and working on the other chapters.

Memories of Nudgee Junior.

Our thanks to Peter Cleary who has contributed to 'Our Book'. He writes: 'My recollection of the Principal, Br. Mullins is of a large kindly man who generally showed great affection for all pupils of the school.  However, when he was annoyed, probably with justifiction, his large frame could be heard lumbering in a menacing manner along the verandahs of the building.  On these occasions he was menacing.'

Do you have any recollections of Nudgee junior?  Please let us know.
